Taiwan Share House was born out of a simple observation: for an international student, finding a room in Taipei is easy, but finding a home is hard. Six years ago, we transition from just solely property market, we set out to become community creators for international students rather than just landlords. We realized that the most meaningful part of studying abroad isn't just the classes you take, but the people you meet and the cultures you discover along the way.
We see ourselves as ambassadors for Taiwan. We believe that every student who stays with us should leave with a deep, authentic love for our country. This is why we don't just provide a bed; we provide a "cultural bridge". Through our previous partnerships with chinese learning-approved agencies, we have spent the last three years specifically supporting students in Chinese language programs, ensuring they have the perfect environment to practice Mandarin and dive into local life.
We consciously place our homes in the heart of Taipei in Daan and Xinyi disctricts to be more than just apartments. We make sure each location is equipped with shared kitchens and living rooms specifically to foster interaction rather than just providing isolated rooms in a apartment . By hosting regular in-house cultural events, we invite our residents to step out of their rooms and into a vibrant, multicultural family.
Our journey is measured by the friendships formed under our roofs. To date, we have had the honor of welcoming 380 students from over 20 countries. Every student who joins us contributes to a global tapestry of stories, making our share houses a truly unique place to grow, learn, and connect.
