Welcoming the Chaos- Inaugural Halloween bash event
The evening officially kicked off with the arrival of the guest coming in through the door around 6:30pm , where the party’s atmosphere hit immediately thanks to our decorations. As guests navigated the garage crime scene tape and encountered the police officer waiting at the front , the energy was electric. The initial greeting by the host as the Police Officer helped set a fun, theatrical tone. This early part was just for mingling with each other and laughing , appreciating the incredible effort put into costumes and house setup like the amazing 1-2 Best Costumes: e.g., Chewbacca and the hand-crafted Dr. Seuss hat —and snapping initial photos in the beautifully Lighting: e.g., colorful, spooky ambiance. It was the perfect warm-up for the long night ahead.

The Potluck Feast & Cultural Exchange
As the house filled up, the focus shifted to the potluck food and drinks. We provided staples like pizza and chicken and amazing fruit cake, but the real highlight was the incredible generosity of our international friends who brought a stunning array of dishes, turning it into a true cultural exchange event. In Taiwan among friends potluck and hanging out with go hand in hand . it’s a big part of the culture. Everyone quickly gathered in the kitchen area around the food filled table ,which was devoured almost instantly! This was a perfect moment for guests to relax, recharge, and share stories before the entertainment began, establishing that great social flow we wanted for our Taiwan share house event.

Horror Movie Marathon
With some foods already in our belly , we settled in for the main event: the horror movie marathon. After a poll, we hosted on our Facebook page the Movie 1: Cabin in the Woods 2011 was selected .I She selected it and she said one of her teacher mentioned it being a good movie to watch . the night took a more terrifying turn when we switched to the Taiwanese horror film, [Movie 2: e.g., Incantation]. The movie is a very popular movie and a here is a interesting tidbit . One of the person who mentioned let's watch this movie said that while on a school trip during 2022 to Hsinchu they visited the scene of the movie and noticed everyone's gasping ,animated reaction etc and that’s when he learned about this movie so he decided to give it a try and he loved it and that’s why he recommended us to watch it.
So if you interested in Taiwan culture you can watch the movie and look at the various scenery and the movie then try to visit many of them as possible during your stay here.

The Farewell & After-party
As the official part of the house party wound down around 10:30 to make room for everyone to head into the city to attend the many halloween parties happening at midnight around at places like the Xinyi commercial district area or the Maji Bar area , the flow was incredibly smooth. We managed to hit all the highlights without much lull in between , and everyone felt satisfied and ready for the night parties. Guests expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the inaugural event and international exchange between people , with many confirming they look forward to attending again. The remaining energy was quickly redirected to the Taipei nightlife, capping off a fantastic night of costumes and community. This event has officially set the standard for future gatherings at our house!
