Studying or living abroad is an incredible adventure, but finding a casual, welcoming space to meet people outside of a formal classroom or crowded bar isn't always easy. As a share house company dedicated to bringing people together, we wanted to bridge that gap for Taipei’s international community. That is why we are thrilled to officially open the doors to our brand-new Sofa Student Lounge—a dedicated community hub designed for foreigners, language learners, and university students from all over the world to hang out, study, and connect.
To kick off the grand opening and bring everyone together, we hosted a massive Karaoke Night, open to the public. The energy was incredible as the lounge packed out with travelers, expats, and students from every corner of the globe. There’s no faster way to break the ice than by belting out classic anthems and global hits together, and the night quickly turned into an unforgettable celebration of Taipei's diverse international scene.
The success of the opening night is exactly what the Sofa Student Lounge is all about.
